1. Is there a monthly subscription?
No. Unlike standard GPS trackers that need a SIM card and a data plan, Lookout uses Apple’s Find My network. You buy the hardware once and get tracking for life. No monthly bills, no hidden fees.
2. How does it track without a SIM card?
It sends out a secure Bluetooth signal that nearby Apple devices can pick up. Those devices then relay the location to iCloud so you can see it on your map. It’s the same tech Apple uses for AirTags; you're basically using a billion iPhones as your tracking network.
3. Will it kill my car battery?
No. Lookout draws less power than your car's digital clock. You can leave it plugged in for weeks while parked without worrying about a flat battery.
4. What if a thief spots it?
That’s why we built it into a charger. To a thief, it just looks like a dual-port power adapter. They’re more likely to use it to charge their phone than think to unplug it. It hides in plain sight while other trackers get ripped out.
5. Does it work with Android?
No. This is built specifically for the Apple ecosystem. You'll need an iPhone, iPad, or Mac to see the location.
